Beaches
It is a famous saying that Antigua has a beach for every day of the year, and the island truly does not disappoint! Here you can find those postcard beaches you have always dreamed about and wandered whether they actually existed. Sail the catamaran right up to the shallow waters of that perfect beach and laze in the turquoise waters – enjoy every moment. Antigua and Barbuda both also pink sand beaches, something extra special to see!

Sailing
The coasts of Antigua and neighbouring Barbuda are perfect for cruising around, especially in a catamaran, which will allow you to moor so close to the beach due to its shallow birth. Stunning bays and reefs will create a perfect holiday, where your itinerary is your own – spend a few hours or even days exploring Antigua’s harbours.
Constant trade-winds allow for a smooth sail, allowing you to relax and enjoy great conditions. There are also two important races in Antigua, namely the Classic Yacht Regatta and Antigua Sailing Week. These are both during April, and the latter has become one of the top three regattas in the world. If you want to try your hand at racing, then why not compete in Jolly Harbour’s weekly races, organised by Jolly Harbour Yacht Club.

Diving and Snorkelling
Diving in Antigua and Barbuda is some of the best in the world. The conditions are perfect, with 50-140 ft visibility, turquoise waters and temperatures averaging at 80F (25C), and there is little or no current in most places. The waters have a plethora of breath-taking marine wildlife, including dolphins and turtles. Both islands are almost completely surrounded by well-preserved coral, reefs, shipwrecks and walls – so there is something for everyone.
